(6)To own, lease, and manage hotels, restaurants, and sports facilities.
(7)To provide management consulting services.
(8)To buy, sell, hold, and manage securities or items deemed to be securities.
(9)To purchase claims and manage them on behalf of clients.
(10)To provide non-life insurance agency services.
(11)Other purposes for which individual consent has been obtained from the person in question.

3.Use of Personal Information

The Company will use clients’ personal information only within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use as stated above.

4.Provision of Personal Information

As a general rule, the Company does not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the individual. However, we may provide personal information to third parties in accordance with laws and regulations when the Company deems it necessary to achieve the purposes of use stated above.

5.Ensuring the Accuracy of Personal Information

The Company endeavors to keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date at all times.

6.Ensuring the Security of Personal Information

The Company takes organizational, personnel, physical, and technical safety control measures to prevent the leakage, loss, damage, falsification, and theft of our clients’ personal information.

7.Proper Handling of Personal Information

The Company implements thorough measures to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately in our business operations by providing education and training on the protection of personal information to our personnel and by establishing internal regulations.

8.Appropriate Supervision of Contractors

When entrusting the handling of personal information held by the Company to a third party, the Company will supervise the third party appropriately by conducting regular audits, etc.

9.Compliance with Laws, Regulations, and Other Standards Regarding the Protection of Personal Information

The Company complies with laws and regulations regarding the handling of personal information, as well as guidelines regarding the protection of personal information in fields under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

Procedures for Requesting Disclosure of Personal Information

The procedures for requesting notification of the purpose of use and disclosure of personal data held by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “Request for Disclosure, etc.”) are as follows.

Requests for Disclosure, etc. shall be accepted at our “Personal Information Handling Desk” by postal mail. Requests made by telephone, fax, or email will not be accepted. In addition, please refrain from making Requests for Disclosure, etc. directly to the “Personal Information Desk,” as this may cause confusion.

1.Obtaining Application Documents

Clients who wish to make a Request for Disclosure, etc. should first write in red on the front of an envelope “Request for Disclosure, etc. of Personal Information,” include within it a self-addressed return envelope with an 82-yen stamp attached, and mail it to our “Personal Information Handling Desk.” We will promptly send you a Personal Information Disclosure Request Form.

2.How to Apply

Please fill in the necessary items on the Personal Information Disclosure Request Form that the Company sent to you and submit it by mail with the documents listed below along with a self-addressed, stamped return envelope with a 430-yen stamp attached. When requesting notification of the purpose of use or disclosure of personal information in our possession, please enclose a fixed-amount postal money order valued at 1,000 yen as a handling fee.

Documents

(1) Documents to Verify Your Identity

A photocopy of one of the following documents: driver’s license, passport, physical disability certificate, or resident card (please submit a photocopy of the part that shows your identity).

In case you do not have any of the above documents, a copy of two of the following: health insurance card, pension booklet, copy of family registry, or seal registration certificate.

(2) Certificate of Residence (1 copy)

Note 1: Please attach a copy obtained within the last three months.
Note 2: If you have submitted your resident card as an attachment, a copy of the Certificate of Residence is unnecessary.

3.Method of Disclosure

Notification of the purpose of use and disclosure of personal information in our possession will be made by mail to the address listed in the Certificate of Residence of the person concerned. Please note that there may be cases where disclosure, etc. is not permitted in accordance with laws and regulations.
